ParkerStores extend sponsorship with Donny Schatz Motorsports for 2001 racing season

Cleveland, OH- Parker Hannifin Corporation, along with the more than 300 affiliated ParkerStores worldwide are pleased to announce that they will extend their sponsorship with Donny Schatz Motorsports for the 2001 racing season.

Schatz just completed the 2000 World of Outlaws season at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He finished the season eleventh in the overall WoO point standings. Highlights for the year include, a runner-up finish in the season's biggest race, the 40th Annual Knoxville Nationals, winning the Williams Grove National Open, and a victory at Lowe's Motor Speedway new Dirt Track. The young outlaw also picked up the "Perseverance Award' at the annual awards banquet.

"We didn't run up front as much as we would have liked to this past season" stated Donny Schatz. "We're going to do things a little different over the winter this year. We're going to focus on our World of Outlaws program and hopefully come out strong in the spring. We've had a lot of changes over the past 6 months, but I think we have everything in place to start running up front."
