'Drive to Save Lives’ Blood Drive to be held in conjunction with Hospitality Tent this weekend in Fargo, ND

(Minneapolis, MN-July 2, 2001) This is your personal invitation to the Donny Schatz Hospitality Tent before the World of Outlaws event on Saturday, July 7. This tent will be open to all Donny Schatz fans, as well as customers and employees of his sponsors. It will be located at the west of the grandstands, and open from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Admittance is easy, just wear any item of Donny Schatz racing apparel, or any wearable item (shirt, hat, jacket, etc.) from one of Donny Schatz' sponsors. This includes Parker Hannifin and the ParkerStores, Featherlite Vogue, Blue Beacon Truck Washes, Bellerud Transport and Schatz Crossroads/Petro/Iron Skillet.

There will be food and beverages served and the opportunity to win numerous door prizes. This event is a must for any Donny Schatz race fan.

If you do not have one of Donny Schatz Motorsports or ParkerStores new 2001 racing items, make sure you stop at the Petro Stopping Center in Fargo and check out the gift store or Donny’s merchandise trailer, parked out front. You can also get these items at Donny's hauler after the events on Thursday and Friday night.

Along with the Hospitality Tent, the Schatz’ have put together the ‘Drive to Save Lives’ blood drive to be conducted by United Blood Services at their Iron Skillet Restaurant on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. "It isn't a fund raiser", said Diane Schatz, "but it is being done for the good of the community. Anyone who donates gets a free BBQ Rib Dinner, including soup and salad bar and a free T-shirt. It is a good way to get free lunch or dinner over the weekend and it is for a very worthwhile cause."
