MECHANICBURG, PA - Donny Schatz recently said that he forgot what it felt like to reach victory lane. After a sizzling month and half of action earlier this summer in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws season, Schatz and his ParkerStores/Featherlite Coaches team hadn't been back since mid-June in Topeka. It's ironic that Williams Grove Speedway was the venue for their first victory in six weeks, but Schatz did more than win just one, he also won a make-up feature from May and now has won the last four Outlaw features at Williams Grove.

"This is pretty awesome to be up here," said Schatz, following his seventh win of the season. "Kenny Woodruff and all of the guys that work on this car have done an awesome job every time we've been here. Luck's been going our way here too, but we've got a great team and I hope our string here can continue."

Schatz began the evening by qualifying 10th in the field of 41 cars and quickly set up his evening by winning the second O'Reilly Heat Race. He stared fourth and finished fourth in the Channellock Dash to earn a second row starting position in the 25-lap preliminary feature.

"The Minot Missile" quickly moved the #15 ParkerStores J&J into second when the green flag dropped. Schatz made several attempts to get by early-leader Greg Hodnett and finally did so with a pass on the 13th circuit. For the next 11 laps, Schatz drove away from the field, but a late yellow allowed Hodnett and Donnie Kreitz to close in for a green-white-checkered finish. The #15 drove away from the field again and claimed the victory.

Following the win, the team had fifteen minutes to get ready for a 30-lap make-up feature from May. Schatz had already earned the pole position, and he took the lead from the start. Caution flags at lap 10 and 22 were the only time for Schatz to slow down as he mastered the historic half-mile for the fourth consecutive time.

"I was worried about Donnie Kreitz coming there at the end," said Schatz, who took fifth spot from Andy Hillenburg in the WoO standings with his back-to-back wins. "He did a great job and I'm just glad we beat him. I changed my line late in the race after hitting the wall a coupe of times. I thought to myself, "Hey, to finish first, you must first finish".

Schatz will go for his fifth consecutive win at "The Grove" on Friday night. With his first win of the night, he earned the pole position for the Channellock Dash which will set the first 10 position in the "A" Feature. The entire evening of action can be heard live on SCN Radio (www.sprintcarnet.com) beginning at 8 PM (ET). Following Friday's race, Schatz and his ParkerStores crew will travel to Hagerstown, MD, for a one-night program Saturday.
