Schatz ParkerStore car shines
at Alexandria Technical College

(Alexandria, MN) The students and guests at the Alexandria Technical College got an up close look at a high-speed application for fluid power this past Sunday. Parker Hannifin had Donny Schatz' ParkerStore sponsored World of Outlaws sprint car on display in the CAMC (Center for Automation and Control) Department.

The technical school conducts an open house every year, giving incoming students and the public the opportunity to view the school and its programs. Several thousand people attend this event annually.

"We've tried to get this car for a few years," said instructor Todd Zarbock. "It's awesome that we finally got everything to work out. This car really draws a lot of attention. It also gives the students a little better appreciation for the wide range of fluid power applications"

The CAMC students also had the RatBag video game "Dirt Track Racin' 2" on the big screen in the training room. Visitors had the opportunity to take a spin around the country's best dirt tracks in the ParkerStore sponsored machine. Prizes were given out to competitors based on their performance.

The Alexandria Technical College is known as the 'School That Cares', and was recently selected as one of the top ten vocational schools in the nation. The Fluid Power Technology program has graduates across the country, and has a placement rating of nearly 100% every year.
