"We have had some mechanical problems that have made some nights a struggle this year but last weekend I really felt like we had hit a good handling package that got our Shaver horsepower to the ground. "Tonight we were able to get it all together. We qualified well, ran well in the heat and the dash so we had a good starting spot in the feature. We are locked in for tomorrow night. Tyler (Swank, crew chief) and I will have to watch the track carefully as the evening progresses to make sure we keep our setup on target." Schatz qualified second out of 32 -car field on hand for the two-day event. He ran fifth in his heat and third in his dash putting him in the sixth starting spot for the main. |
