Elbridge, NY, May 29, 2003 ~ Donny Schatz posted his second consecutive top-five finish in World of Outlaws competition Wednesday at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park, Elbridge, NY with a strong second place run behind race winner, Steve Kinser.

A total of 33 cars were on hand to qualify for the 25-lap A main. Schatz posted 12th quick time in his #15 ParkerStore J & J. He went on to finish third in both his heat race and the second dash putting him on the outside of the third row for the feature.

Pole sitter Paul McMahan jumped in to the lead as the field headed to turn one at the drop of the green. Jason Johnson, Brian Paulus, Kinser and Schatz battled to get the lead from McMahan until Paulus spun, bringing out the yellow flag on lap seven.

When green flag racing resumed, Kinser got by McMahan for the lead within two laps. Schatz passed Johnson for third place with an inside move into turn four in the 11th lap then drove past McMahan in the low groove between the third and fourth corners on lap 15 and set his sights on Kinser. Kinser had stretched out a lead by the time Schatz disposed of McMahan and ran out of laps to run him down as the checkered flag flew. The finish was Kinser, Schatz, Johnson, Danny Lasoski and McMahan.

Despite juggling two full-time racing series with the WoO and United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown, Schatz continues to climb the points standings currently sitting in seventh place.
