W. Lebanon, NY - Donny Schatz and his ParkerStore World of Outlaws Sprint Series team were hoping a weekend of action in Pennsylvania and New York would help them return to their winning ways. Schatz finished 11th and 12th at Williams Grove Speedway and 24th in Sunday's event at Lebanon Valley Speedway in upstate New York.

There was reason for optimism heading into the weekend as Schatz had scored a victory in May at Rolling Wheels Raceway in New York, and the 26 year-old Fargo, ND racer had seven career wins at Williams Grove heading into the weekend.

Schatz battled qualifying problems both nights at Williams Grove timing in 25th on Friday and 23rd on Saturday. In Friday's feature, he was moving forward from deep in the field when a flat tire slowed his charge. The ParkerStore team led by Tyler Swank changed tires on the #15 ParkerStore J&J before Schatz continued his charge racing back to an 11th place finish. In Saturday's feature, the track was much faster making passing cars more difficult. Schatz started 22nd and finished 12th in the 30-lap Summer Nationals Finale.

The team seemed to solve their qualifying woes on Sunday night at Lebanon Valley Speedway, when Schatz timed in second in the field. He finished fourth in his heat race and sixth in the Dash event, earning him the 12th starting position. The team's recent trouble continued on the opening lap when Schatz tangled with Tim Shaffer in turn four. He got upside town as a result of the contact and damage was too severe for him to continue. He was credited with a 24th place finish.

Schatz and his ParkerStore team continue their eastern swing with a one program Monday night at Orange County Speedway in Middletown, NY.
