PLYMOUTH, WI - Donny Schatz scored his 22nd top five finish on Saturday night as the World of Outlaws Sprint Series made their debut at the Sheboygan County Fair Speedway in Plymouth, WI. Schatz raced his #15 ParkerStore J&J to a fourth place finish in the 40-lap "A" Feature and by doing so, regained the third position in the series standings.

"Any time you start close to the front, you really feel like you should win the race, but Joey had us covered tonight, " said Schatz, who chased event winner Joey Saldana to the checkered flag. "We tried to find a faster way around later in the race and I had a little problem with the cushion, which cost me a couple spots. Good indication that we're on the right track."

Schatz qualified fifth in the field of 55 cars on Saturday night at the quarter-mile dirt oval. He raced from the fifth starting position in the fourth heat race and soared through the field to win the 10-lap heat race. He finished second to Saldana in the first dash event earning the third starting position in the feature event.

In the feature, Saldana jumped out to an early lead while Schatz raced with Kraig Kinser for second place. Schatz took the spot when Kinser jumped the cushion during the race's first few laps. Schatz continued his pursuit of Saldana through traffic, but couldn't catch the leader. After a yellow slowed the action on lap 28, Steve Kinser and Schatz exchanged the runner-up spot on laps 31 and 32 before Schatz jumped the cushion allowing Kinser to take second and the following lap Danny Lasoski moved Schatz to fourth where he finished the race.

The fourth place finish coupled with Jason Meyers finishing 20th allowed the Fargo, ND driver to move back into third place in the standings.

The ParkerStore team of Tyler Swank, Brian Bloomfield and Schatz will return to Fargo for the week to prepare for next weekend's races on Friday night at Eldora Speedway and Saturday night's program at I-55 Raceway. The team will also get geared up for the following week when the sport's biggest event: the Ford Dealers of Iowa Knoxville Nationals, which begins on Wednesday, August 11.
