Elk Grove, CA- California’s Kyle Larson continued his winning ways at the opening race of the 25th Anniversary Season at the Red Bluff Indoor Winter Series for Outlaw Sprint Karts while debuting the yellow and black colors of sponsor ParkerStore.

Larson opened the day by setting fast time of 9.326 over a field of 18 competitors. The Red Bluff track has been lengthened this year and the time is now the track record for the 125cc division. Amazingly, this is Larson’s first ever track record. In the heat race Larson started outside the 2nd row and finished 3rd to advance to the A-Main event.

Larson started last in the 6 position in the 6 lap trophy dash and finished in the 3rd position behind winner Dillon Silverman and Brian Southers.

The A-Main saw Larson start in the 5th position of the 14 kart field. By the end of the first lap, he had already moved into the 2nd position behind Silverman. As the outlaw karts raced to the yellow flag, Silverman chose the high line around a spun kart in turn four while Larson dove to the bottom and took over the lead at the line. Larson continued to comfortably lead the final laps of the caution filled race that saw the lap count cut to 15 due to time constraints. Larson finished ahead of Southers and Silverman to take over the early point lead.

The unveiling of Larson’s ParkerStore QRC Factory Outlaw Sprint Kart was well received, with the new paint scheme looking fast both on and off the track.
